Sachin's Blasters Vs Warne's Wariors





New York: Indian batting great Sachin Tendulkar and legendary Australian spinner Shane Warne rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Friday, becoming the first cricketers to perform the ceremonial activity at the world's largest stock exchange. The stars are in the city for the All Stars T20 series, which begins on Saturday.
Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar hopes to see cricket become a global sport by making an impact on the youngsters and women in America through the inaugural three-match series.
"The idea is to globalise cricket...We are here to encourage youngsters as well as women cricketers who will be joining us in our practise sessions," Tendulkar told reporters ahead of the first match in the 'Cricket All Stars' series to be played on November 7 in the famed Citi Field.
